I met Margaret a few years ago while volunteering at Oxfam bookshop Tonbridge. She was a wonderful, feisty lady who I’ll always remember as being very particularly over her very smart appearance. A formidable force of nature, ready with an opinion and a wicked sense of humour. She shared her love of books and entertained us all with stories of her eventful life. She was great to work with and I always looked forward to a shift with Margaret. She will be greatly missed.
